So I somehow don't have a vin number and no listing for the car I ordered 4 days before that creation date?
Seems awfully fishy to me

So because the dealership i ordered from in early November does not have a line item / vin number show up yet, it still has yet o be assigned and is well over a month away despite my dealer telling me 'within 2 weeks' on December 16th.

Failcat does not always reflect all VIN's accurate. If they said the Telluride was within 2 weeks of showing up to the store then it should be built and have a VIN. Check with them if they have one. If they do post here and I will be happy to look up latest info.

If they do not have a VIN then it still can be accepted and incoming to the store, with an ETA that they can provide but I can not see till a VIN is issued.

Another ETA passed, could you check again and see what it shows? 5XYP24HC7NG244549

Is my salesman able to find out where the car is with it being marked in transit? like is it sitting in a rail yard somewhere waiting for a truck, still at the factory waiting to go out, etc? Or are they in the dark until it finally arrives at the dealership?

Showing In Transit to dealer with ETA of 01-22 as of today.. Unfortunately they are in the dark of where it exactly is until it shows at the dealership.

Dealer contacted me yesterday to say it's now in transit to them, so should arrive any day. Curious if that's visible somewhere or if there are other ways dealer's get updates from KIA.
