We see when a car is assigned to us if it is a custom order or if it is for normal inventory.

When the car is assigned to us it is well before it is built.
Name will be attach to an internal number that will convert over to a VIN when it starts to be built.


So your dealer can confirm if the VIN you are looking at is infact your Telluride or someone else.. or an open and available unit.

The dealer knows as soon as the VIN is created who the order belongs to if it was an actual order and not just an incoming unit that is being sold to someone.
