So can you explain to me what “in transit” means? I thought that it meant on truck and in route?

It means it has left the factory via truck or train (then truck from the rail yard) depending on where you live. Ask your dealer how their Tellurides travel!

First, you have to know how failcat works. (Telluride VIN Lookup - The History) Then, if you read other recent postings in failcat threads (use the search tool, check "search titles only" and enter "failcat"), you will see that there was an issue with the Kia website. So, to summarize, Ask your question in a failcat thread in the future and, who knows when updates will start again.

Having bought 3 from Lucas, he is very diligent in communications and updates. Stephen will not be able to give you any more accurate data. Once you get the "in transit" update, the vehicle, at least for me, has arrived earlier than the date given.
