Hoping to get a little more information than my dealer is providing. When I put the deposit down last week - he told me he expected it to arrive that day (Friday the 17th or the next 18th) so I felt rushed to put deposit down... Which I'm still happy I did! However, Monday he then told me the delivery date was pushed to 7/29. I have the VIN 5XYP3DHC9MG100500 and am now told it is "IN TRANSIT-TENDER". Kind of feel like I'm being played if he truly believed it would be there last week wouldn't the status have shown it was on it's way? Anyway, if anyone has time to track and/or explain what IN TRANSIT- TENDER means - I would really appreciate it!!

I am trading in my old car today because I got a quote a week ago from CarMax and it was much higher than any dealer - so I'm just hoping I'm not without a car for too long

Yes will update one more time before arriving to dealer when it goes into IT( In Transit) status

Question.. so instead of doing a trade at the Kia dealer for the Telly, you are basically selling your old car to car max?
I was doing a trade at Kia for mine, but now I am wondering if I should “sell” it elsewhere. ? And use my cash for my new Telly that I am supposed to get next week

Don't want to throw this thread off course, but yes you can sell your old car to Carmax and use the cash for down payment or whatever. You need to figure out how much your car is worth and if trading it in will lower your tax bill when purchasing your Telluride. OR if the cash will be better if the dealer isn't giving you enough. Use an auto loan calculator to figure out what works best for you.

Yes, that is what I’m doing. Take it to Carmax risk free and get a quote to take in to your dealer. I did that and honestly my dealer didn’t even try to match CarMax and told me that I did the best thing because he couldn’t beat their price. He said Carmax has an advantage because they can distribute the car across the US but dealers and more limited

Luck was on my side today! I got my White/Black SX-P Telluride! Power Kia in Salem, OR came up clutch. I'll post pics later.

The real news I want to share is that if you live on the West Coast and really want an SX-P, irony was on my side today as I had another order for an SX-P in Portland, OR that I placed in March and wasn't getting an ETA on... 30 minutes after I got my Telluride in Salem my Portland dealer finally texted me an KFOS eta of 10/22/20. I told him I had to back out of the order. If anyone in Oregon, Washington, NorCal is looking for a Black/Black 2021 SX-P contact Silvere at Westin Kia in Portland as it is up for grabs. They have a 3k markup. I managed to get MSRP on mine today. That did impact my decision...a little. Just happy to have my Telluride.

Hey! Yeah happy to swap stories about Power Kia. Up until this week it has been fantastic. The car was supposed to arrive and as Stephen confirmed is showing in dealer inventory, but they said it's still not there and i've gotten crickets over the past 24 hours. Seems fishy to me. When did you order? Who are you working with?

I supposably supposed to have a dealer allocated '21 SX Nightfall in Ebony black, which is due on 9/2, but it makes me nervous when they are not charging over MSRP (as all PDX dealership are) and I don't even have a VIN yet. So far they've been great, but you know the old saying... If it's too goo to be true...

Power Kia truly did honor MSRP for me. I was surprised too, but they came through. Good luck!

I have a deposit on one and just looking at trends on Failcat that tow might be one of the big reasons for my double bump this month. I just went to 8/22 but without a vin showing in dealer system yet. Dealer sent me a screen shot and both his P/T are the ones without Vins.

Currently have 7 incoming SX AWD with Tow Package.. none with Vin numbers.. I think they are just building in blocks.. Have 2 EX with Tow Package that got built at same time and are about to arrive for clients..

How did your pickup from Lev go? Did they stick to MSRP? Any add-ons to the final bill that surprised you? How are you liking the car so far?

We have an order in with Lev and are dealing with Ken Russian. Ken has been great so far. We are hoping to have ours in Oct/Nov time frame.
