• THIS SECTION IS ONLY FOR DISCUSSIONS RELATING TO BUYING A TELLURIDE. PLEASE USE A DIFFERENT SECTION FOR POSTING MESSAGES ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN BUYING A TELLURIDE. THANK YOU!

  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Is there any correlation between a dealerership's web inventory and actual on-site inventory? My car is now listed on their website, but that doesn't necessarily mean it has arrived. I'm just wondering if in general a car is listed when it arrives, when transport is confirmed, when someone gets around to updating the site, etc. Thanks

So typically speaking inventory is loaded automatically. They usually generate when a vehicle is invoiced (Dealer charged and goes on dealers floor plan) that usually transpires right before cars are transported to dealership

Stephen, thank you for your help! Have you ever thought of doing some type of subscription service? I think there are a lot of people that would pay a one time fee to receive an initial ETA, followed by biweekly/monthly ETA for vehicles 1+ months out and then weekly updates once vehicle is within a couple weeks of the ETA. I know you like helping people, but definitely need to be compensated for such a helpful/demanding service. This might not even be something you are interested in, but was just thinking outside the box! You might even be able to setup an excel sheet to automatically pull the vin numbers from the ETA website you have access to every Monday. Just some thoughts haha

@StephenCantrelle my allocation 5XYP3DHC0MG105732 is reflecting on my dealers website as in stock. Can u confirm if it made it to Peak Kia?
Showing in transit to Peak Kia ETA 09-16

Just noticed that, sending now!

Quick question. Is there any reason that I was able to find my car on the vin lookup website with exactly what I asked for heading to my dealership, but when I asked my dealer for a vin number the one he gave me is not the same and is noi where to be found on the vin look up?

maybe had two similar ones coming and the one he gave you had a quicker ETA.. you can post vin of the other one as well and I can check that ETA
