If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I'll take a August order slipping a month or so. I'm a January order that went from March pickup to May ETA to........who knows when it will actually show up!

Let me guess....is yours an SXP?

ETA is 10-10 to Gerald KIa.. no name in attached to it.. doesnt mean not your car just may not be updated on dealer side

@StephenCantrelle Could you help me with a question (or two)?

Attached is the order form from my dealer after placing a SX AWD P/T/N in ebony black with dune brown interior order on Labor Day. I had wanted all accessory options other than entertainment pkg and side rails but the dealer manager said I could only order six. But it looks like only two are listed: mud guards and carpet mats.

Why would I be restricted on number of add-ons and does this order form look to be in proper order?

Does the dealer intent to try to sell additional add-ons (like lighting, illuminated scup plate, cargo stuff, etc. that I wanted from the beginning) to me directly and install in the dealership shop?

Thanks for the help and I'll be submitting a tip!

Marc

Yes that is 100% legit order and order sheet.

So yes Kia does limit the amount of items you can add to 6. So this is accurate.
Also as of late the accessories are even more limited(maybe due to supplies)

So only options as of today(can change tomorrow) that you can choose are
Floor mats, cargo net, cargo cover, cargo mat, mud guards and wheel locks.

Dealer can install the other items at the dealer level but keep in mind you may have to pay labor on certain items like roof rack or side steps.

Could pre-ordered accessories be causing the ETA slippage so many are seeing (roof rack or illuminated scuff plates)?

Thanks so much! I put a deposit down on this one but it was already configured. Let's go 10-10

Yes I have seen this in past... specifically to Tow Package... would imagine it could happen to scuff plates or side steps...

@StephenCantrelle I can't help but ask... ETA please! Thank you!!

ETA showing 09-22 as of today to Gossett

Good morning @StephenCantrelle, whenever you have time, could you check to see if 5XYP5DHC4MG116632 has a first name starting with J or H, and 3-letter last name ending in X, please. Much appreciated!

@MarcinTexas , is there actual intel/data suggesting that the Prestige packages are deliberately being slowed down once on the floor? Hard to wrap my head around it. I'd imagine as their highest price point package, it's also their highest margin and they'd prefer to collect that $ ASAP vs. drag it out. Basic contribution margin math - and clearly the demand is there.
