Is there anything good about it only being delayed a week? My dealership tried to tell me a couple weeks ago that it means it could come sooner rather than later? This is the 4th time it has been delayed a week. Thank you!

ETA's are tricky really no rhyme or reason.. all it is good for is to give you a general idea when it is coming.. most important part in my opinion in when they go In Transit.. then you can start to get excited

No it happens... few and far between but seen it before.. but showing in stock for a week or two is way to long.. maybe a couple days but that should be it... I would be asking manger to track car down.. maybe sitting at a different dealers lot..

@MarcinTexas , is there actual intel/data suggesting that the Prestige packages are deliberately being slowed down once on the floor? Hard to wrap my head around it. I'd imagine as their highest price point package, it's also their highest margin and they'd prefer to collect that $ ASAP vs. drag it out. Basic contribution margin math - and clearly the demand is there.

Yes. At my dealer - Nightfall Edition SX Prestige vehicles that were ordered after my order have jumped out way ahead of mine. Then there is the production data that shows SXP production has slowed dramatically. I have heard some say it is an parts/inventory issue - but I don't believe that. Here's why: Standard SX Exterior and SXP Exterior are the same while NFP Interior and SXP Interior are the same. Both the standard SX and NFP are being produced in relatively large numbers while the SXP production has almost come to a hault. Here are some graphs and statistics to support this:

At 8 months in (1/11/20 order), it doesn't appear to be. I certainly hope Stephen's recently provided 9-26 ETA proves close to right, though I am pessimistic due to the prior ETAs shared with me via dealer, starting with mid-May ETA. It's been nothing but slipping ever since.

SXP. Ordered 1/11. I don't recall exact date, but accepted into KFOS sometime in mid-March (was notified via phone). I remember vividly due to odd timing re: virus shutdowns around country.
