One bummer of the dealer marking it as sold is that your xm trial, uvo and probably warranty start when they do. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but mine was marked sold and I didn't take delivery for 5-6 days so I lost out on almost a weeks worth of that stuff. Not a huge deal but when you're paying a premium for the vehicle, losing out on that little bit so the dealer isn't showing stock is kind of annoying as a consumer.

In my case, the dates were tied to the day I took delivery. Are you sure you lost out on a week? You can check the UVO subscription date in the app.

I would think it would be tied to the date the finance/purchase contract is signed and the vehicle is paid for (either by cash or loan).

I took delivery and signed paperwork the 18th. I got the survey from Kia about my buying experience the day before I took delivery, emails from xm 4 days before I took delivery and as you can see, my UVO subscription runs out 9/11/21
