Hi Stephen! Hope you are doing well! I have a quick question for you. I ordered my 2020 Telluride in March was moved to the 2021 model over the summer. I heard today the date of arrival has changed to 11/22 from
10/30. I’m concerned because my dealer has never provided the VIN number to me, because they don’t have it. What does this mean? Should I be concerned? Thanks so much!!

Ask for a build schedule that will show when your telluride is estimated to be build and painted.. sounds reasonable to not have a Vin number yet if you have an ETA of 11/22.. may be close to being built

would you please check on VIN 5XYP5DHC5MG126747. I understand the car was built on 10/3, but the delivery date keeps getting extended, allegedly for a shortage of delivery drivers due to Covid. Thank you.

BTW, I first ordered the car on 10/21/2019. The first confirmed ETA was early March 2020. Then the planned factory shutdown, Covid, and the extended factory shutdown occurred. After the factory reopened, I was informed my car would not be built. My dealer (NC057) reordered as as 2021 model on 7/16/2020. So from first order to delivery will be 12+ months.

@StephenCantrelle - can you please look up VIN #5XYP5DHC2MG132960 and see if it's attached to me and what the ETA is? Initials are KE.

(Freaking out right now! 🤪)
 
@StephenCantrelle if you have time could look up the VIN 5XYP3DHC8MG131849. I almost matches what I ordered and going to my dealer. Dealer game me last 6 digits of VIN and it matches this one, but has no delivery estimate. If they truly ordered for me initials are CP. Thanks in advance.
