Hello.
I have an '23 SX Limited (Canadian car) with proper snow tires. I've had the Telluride for about three weeks now and twice have had an issue with traction control on snowy, potentially slippery situations. Both times I've pulled onto a highway and the car cuts all the power bringing the car to a complete stop... of course with cars at speed coming up behind me. Quickly disabling the traction control got me moving again but without doing that, I would have certainly been rear-ended. The road conditions have been pretty consistent and typically the Kia would spin the wheels a bit but always have power available to the wheels no matter the condition. Has anyone else experienced this? I have to be honest and say that I'm a bit concerned about having my wife drive around with the kids should the car do this again. I'm going to reach out to my local dealership for their thoughts, but I'd love to hear what you all might think.
