I want to do this somewhat simple install of a 4 - 5 pin adapter I bought from eTrailer, but ran into a potential snag right at the start. Connecting the 5th wire to the reverse light wire at the inside of the lift gate, their How-to video on an Acura MDX shows a collection of wires that makes it easy to identify the small brown reverse light. However, when I lifted the gasket on my 2020 SXP, i found a much smaller diameter, cloth wrapped set of wires, so I’m not sure what is there. Before I cut the wrapper, has anybody done this? Thanks.
