• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello all... Well after so many complaints on my OIL CONSUMPTION, the engine was replaced. Unfortunately as expected a refurbished one was installed. My 2020 runs better but engine is just not as quiet as the original. No more oil consumption issues thus far 10k miles later. HOWEVER... Now the Transmission is starting to delay in changing gears. The ride uphill is the most noticeable. The whole drive trembles until it catches the next gear. Original miles are at 93k. Of course KIA will delay in helping me resolve the problem since 100k warranty is getting close. It gets so bad that it trembles hard and then jerks forward, almost losing control. Yes its goin to the dealer... ANOTHER CIRCUS!!

When did the trans issues start ? What kind of warranty on the motor ?
You had no issues prior to the motor replacement ?
Please keep " us " in the loop,.....................good luck..

The Transmission had not noticeable concerns prior to the engine beiing replaced at 80k miles. BUT Here we go... I dropped off the Telluride at the dealer. I got a call back. They are going to "open a case." According to the the mechanic the Transmission is "really bad. Its trembling a lot". This procedure starts out this way and eventually may lead to a replacement of the Transmission. THIS IS INCREDIBLE!! A 2020 KIA TELLURIDE EX with less than 100k miles and the ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION replaced??!!! I cant think of ever reading anything like this from any Car Dealership! Lets see if they in fact do change the Transmission.... GOOD GRIEF!! As they also speak with me they keep recommending I buy a NEW KIA........ THEY CANT POSSIBLY BE SERIOUS!!! Stay tuned for the conclusion of this Soap Opera.

Not that you want this to happen, BUT, if it's on Kia's dime !!
