Trash can/bag?

New Telluride owner here. I’ve searched the posts but most things that come up are referring to “trash talking”. I’m coming from a minivan where there are lots of features to accommodate family life. One thing on my mind is trash collection. Has anyone found a good solution for trash bags or a trash can in the Tellurides? I’ve seen lots of options on Amazon but thought I’d ask here first.

There are hooks on the back of the front seats from which you could hang a small trash bag.

This is what I've had in my van, and now in my Telluride. I also just bought a plastic cereal container that I line with the plastic bag, and set it in the one from Amazon. There's room for extra bags, and helps with leaking things.

I have it around the passenger grab bar at the center console, rather than around the gear shift.

I just bought something similar from Amazon. Problem I have is I wanted to locate it behind center console on or near the floor of the second row of seats. The strap is too wide to put underneath the center console lid. Interested to hear your experience, and where you put yours.

I ended up buying this trash can from Amazon (along with the bags they suggested because they were black and blend in nicely. The thin box of bags also sits in the bottom of the bin so I’m hoping it gives it added stability.)

It just arrived this afternoon so we haven’t been able to use it but it seems like a great fit so far. It’s small, but that’s what I was going for. The strap fit very easily under the lid of the center console and does not seem to obstruct anything. It slid right down so the trash can sits on the floor.

Thank you, Sara. I just returned mine, did not work well, and bought that same one as you got! I spent way more time than I needed looking at Kia accessory sites and could not come up with something better. Not sure why car manufacturers don't design a trash receptacle in cars! At least for a dirty Kleenex or coke can!

I have the medium, same one sarahlou bought (maybe not same size). Stole the idea to put it around the center console, great idea!

To put trash in - kleenex, straw wrappers, random garbage that shows up.

I was wanting something on the smaller side so I got the medium.

Thanks for sharing! That’s not nearly as intrusive as I thought it might be. Hmm. I might have to size up at some point. Lol!
