• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Just curious. Why are the LX, EX and SX badging normal font but S is in red?

It is a common design language across many car manufacturers. S usually stands for the “sport” trim and usually anything related to sport driving racing is red. As in red line on the tachometer. This is why any time you change to sport mode on any car, usually the instrument cluster will change to red as well.

It can either signify a sportier aesthetic look or actual higher performance. In the case of the Telluride, just a slightly sportier look compared to LX trim.

Kia isn’t the only manufacturer that uses red trim badge for S trims. Audi, Porsche, Acura, and Toyota.

That makes sense. Not sure what’s so much sportier about the S though. The font is also kind of ugly lol
