• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... From what I can see on my Telluride S, there is a trip odometer, but it resets after 4 hours of the car not being in use. I like to reset my trip odometer every time I fill up with gas. Is there any way to do this without it resetting on its own?

I don’t think it should reset on its own I would take it to the dealer let them figure it out

It actually says in the manual that it resets after 4 hours of non use, so it's not a malfunction. Just frustrating that I can't figure out how to get a trip odometer to work indefinitely until I decide to reset it.

Are you talking about resetting the average fuel economy from the trip information? This can be set both manually and automatically.
(1) Manual Reset -- press OK on the steering wheel for more than 1 second
(2) Automatic Reset -- you have a few options: OFF / After Ignition (default after 4 hours) / After refueling (default after refueling more than 1.6 gals)

I do not have an S, so I can’t confirm for myself... but the trip features should be the same for all models. Once in the trip screen, you should be able to cycle through these different modes with the up and down arrows on the right side of the steering wheel.

As far as I have determined, “Accumulated Info” is your traditional trip odometer. It will run until you reset it (unless you set it otherwise). “Drive info” will show information from your current drive (or current series of drives if you haven’t stopped driving for more than a few hours).

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks very much... this helped and I was able to reset.

This is one thing about the Telluride that drives me nuts. I miss have the traditional trip counter, and most of the time 2 trip counters. I always used one for oil changes and the other for expensing mileage at work. Anyone see any way to have 2 counters?

As bruesjoh04 stated above, the "Accumulated Info" is the traditional tripometer that only resets if you do it yourself. Not sure what you can do if you want a second tripometer, but the vehicle's diagnostics will keep track of service/oil change intervals. And you can access all of your trips on the UVO app/website and download them to an Excel spreadsheet. You can even label each trip to be a work or personal trip for monthly or yearly tracking purposes.

I also miss the traditional trip A and B odometers. One trip odometer resets after the vehicle has been off for over 4 hours. The other one is traditional and you can reset that one as you like. I used to use the A and B for different things and now as stuck with just one. Not exactly a smart move, in my opinion. I don't really see the point in resetting after 4 hours. I don't use the Trip widget on the home screen. Does not give me any useful information.

It does NOT reset after 4 hrs. Where can I find the manual reset?

Manual reset was the first option on the post you replied to above 👆.

Check out your owners manual at section 4-78 for the Trip Computer portion.
Thanks! It worked!!!
