Triple Split Screen Setting

Back in 2019, our dealer set up our Telluride SX Prestige screen so we had 3 mini screens (one for XM, one for Nav/Map, one for weather). I just updated the NAV and now only able to get 2 splits. Anyone know the steps to set 3 splits?? Thanks

Unfortunately, too late. That is no longer an option with the newest update. Only 2 screens.

There is endless gripes about it in another post. Some to the point that they were contemplating trading in their car. I think the majority are hunkered down and waiting for the next update.........

Count me as one of the holdouts. I have not loaded the new update. I have been using Google & iMaps, with wireless adapter Carlinkit for most nav. Hoping the next update rectifies some of the format issues.

Please go to the mapnsoft web forums and register your complaint so they hear us. Kia Mapcare | Telluride There are several petitions on that site to bring back or fix items.

Thanks everyone, good to know I wasn't crazy. I will follow the link and sign the petitions, we liked the feature and they could of left it as a customizable feature.

How do you update?

Just so everyone is up to date. If you have a 2020 or 2021 Telluride. By doing this update you will loose the 3 split screens and go to the new version correct?

FYI, when I updated, I left the vehicle idling per the instruction, but found the update repeated itself because I was not watching it. I thought it would complete and reboot. Instead when I kept checking its status at one point it was in step 4 of 5, then I watched until step 5 of 5 completed and the UVO screen came on, then it started to repeat the upload with step 1 of 5. I watched and when it completed step 5 of 5 (for the second time), the UVO logo came up and at that point I shut off the vehicle and then pulled out the USB. I then started the vehicle and checked that the updated version was installed correctly (also verified the new SW version).
Not sure if others had this issue.

Normal. It did this with both of the Tellurides I updated.

My CALL COMMAND stopped working, so I did the update navigation 5, it appears to have fixed the CALL command for hands free calling, however, I LOST the 3 split screen. GRrrrrr.
Also, I still cannot use the hands free SEND TEXT, they want an expensive subscription to do that. Older, less expensive cars offer that STANDARD.

What were the folks who came up with an update that took a step backwards thinking. This is a major frustration. Anyone who had the customers interest in mind would have made this backward step a known "feature" before hand. Give me my 3 screen display back ASAP

I prefer less clutter on the screen. But then again I use AA wireless and am forced to use the split screen mandated in the app.

The massively over used trip tik video screen is a useless annoyance. IF there is a legitimate need for showing 3 related videos that's just swell. However to split and then use ONLY the center piece shows the ignorance of video production. SO, you who are uninspired and lack honest creativity, give it up to the professionsals...unless, of course, you grow up and "24" is looking for old fashioned video people
!!
