• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone tried this stuff? I just brought the whole kit and will apply on Sunday. It wasn't that much $, so figured I try it out based on a bunch of YouTube videos. Even though my car is brand new (and filthy), i'm gonna start from scratch with some clay. I'll take a few after photos and let you know how I made out.

We picked up our SWP SXP at the end of December and I've been washing it every 2 weeks. This past weekend I washed and clayed it. Then used the Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray Coating on the full exterior and wheels. The body felt like glass when finished! Needless to say it's been raining this week and the product works as advertised. Very easy to apply.

Nice and thanks for the feedback. Now I just hope this old DA polisher of mine still works, if I can even find it in the garage.

A couple pics after a wash, clay and Hybrid Solutions wash and wax with a DA polisher. This has to cure for 24 hrs then I'll apply the spray coating. These are cell phone pics, I'll take some proper pic with the Nikon when I'm all done.

Oh, and I added LED back up lights and tinted the front windows. 20200308_150511_HDR.webp

PS- the wash and wax application was great. I used a blue foam pad (medium cut) and even though the sun came out on me, the product applied just fine. Almost zero dusting and it had a long working time. Wiped it off with a dry towel first then a moist towel as per the directions. The finish is so smooth. Can't wait to apply the spray coating tomorrow... Not bad for affordable car care products with SiO2.

In general, the best car wax is the one you like!! That being said.....the most phenomenal results I have achieved in my 51yrs of "car fun" has occurred recently........using Meguiars Ceramic Spray after washing the car and then immediately following with Griots Garage "Spray Wash"......fast, easy and the most beautiful "mirror image" I have ever seen.....most effective on dark finishes!

Agreed. I'm not too anal with the car care brands. This is the first time I've done it on a car that was brand new. Figured I may as well try and have near perfect finish from day 1 instead of waiting for the swirls.

I'll say this polish worked a lot easier than "traditional" stuff and the protecting coat should be much easier than regular carnauba waxing.

We'll see how it holds up protection wise. Two coats of the ceramic spray is supposed to give me a year's worth. Plus I have the ceramic wash, detailer and wet wax stuff too.

I'm definitely satisfied with these products. I'll the coating is pretty legit. Quite a few bugs I smashed on the highway came off with just a stream of water from my house. Pretty impressive in my book, given the cost.

Here a couple high res shots I took on Sunday. Yeah, I'm bored...
