Two concerns: Wipers and Rear A/C.

Is anyone else bothered by the wipers when they are full of ice and you are unable to pull them out to clean them? Mine are currently frozen solid under the hood (-2 degrees outside). Also, when i'm driving and they get full of ice, they are impossible to stop them in the "up" position. Even when I shut the engine off, they retract. I literally have to open the hood to get them "unstuck" to clean them. Pisses me off. My other vehicles do not have this problem. Nor does my wife's 2019 CRV. Also, everytime I start my car, the rear A/C goes on. I have to retract my seat and turn it off. What's up with that?

Have you tried putting the wipers in service mode? That pops them out from under the hood and places them in the up position.

My rear AC does not automatically turn on. I'm sure someone has a suggestion for a setting/fix.

Do you mean, they're currently frozen in place? It's below zero where I live too but getting the blades functional and in service mode is possible.
