• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Love it. I'm glad you love your Telly. I love mine too. Enjoy my friend

Thank you @szillaxl !! So far so good. I'm happy with its performance and comfort so far. The Telly's seats are the best I've ever had, literally. They offer the perfect balance of support and cushioning, a perfectly dialed-in "Goldilocks zone" of comfort.

Wednesday night, I had a nice evening drive home through the rain and I was impressed with so many of the features. Coming from a 2002 model year car, the 2021 Telluride's technology is mind-blowing. I enjoyed using the heated steering wheel and seat cooling at the same time, as well as the Head Up Display, LED headlights, and the rain-sensing front windshield wipers.

I'm also impressed with the HK audio/speaker system. It delivers a rich, balanced sound, at least for the music I have on my phone.

Most of all, it looks amazing. KIA knocked it out of the ballpark in terms of exterior and interior design, colors, body lines. I was planning on a few minor mods, but now I just want to keep it stock because it's beautiful exactly the way it is. I can't wait to take my new Telly on a nice long road trip as soon as possible :)

The seats are surprisingly comfortable along with the head rests.

I agree. Honestly when I was most surprised is when I sat all the way in the back and was able to just sit and look at the moon roofs then the drivers area. The sound system sounds even better back there if you like bass. I could not believe this was a Kia I was sitting in

Not that anyone asked for it, but I made a quick walk-around video yesterday and just uploaded it to YouTube:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!🎊🎉
thank you @Debimahler !!! I really wanted to push the Telly a bit on this road trip to see if I could tease out any issues. So far so good. I'll feel a lot better once I make it to the first oil change/service without any catastrophes :)

Man I bet you’re having a blast! Where are you cruising??

Ventura County, PCH from Point Mugu to Malibu Canyon Rd (Comfort/Sport Mode), Decker Canyon (Sport Mode), 101-N from Camarillo to SJ (Smart Mode, Eco), 680-N to Fairfield, Green Valley Road, Suisun Valley (Smart/Comfort). Hopefully going to the mountains soon if my family can get tickets to Sugar Bowl. My Telly wants to see the snow. :)

Here's how it would look in snow! We have had 3 significant snow falls this winter so far. I haven't driven it much but the oe tires are not the most snow friendly ones but can do the job. Nice color!

Thank you @PittPa !! Wow, the Dark Moss, chrome accents and black SX wheels look gorgeous in the snow !! Nice looking roof bars too. OEM? Yakima? I'm only considering those two :)

Ownership for me has you beat by 2 weeks The combination of the Dark Moss with the black wheels and the small amount of chrome trim caught me! Yes I got the bars on soon after, they are KIA OE I found on Ebay for $250 which wasn't bad. I just put the KIA hitch on Wednesday. Picked up some OE summer mats, put the mud flaps on. I wish KIA made more stuff for me to put on!o_O since I'm running out of things. Even considered the skid plate but I think the only one that would notice is the person changing my oil! Maybe window tint?

OEM all-weather mats are so comfy under my feet. I actually had passengers in my car yesterday (my little sister in the 3rd row, her husband in the passenger seat, and my niece (10) and nephew (12) in the 2nd row, and the dog (2 or 3 years old) wandered around and finally settled down on a 2nd row floor mat, and I asked them all for their opinions of the Telly. They said they liked the Dune Brown Nappa leather seats contrasted with the black plastic/polymer trim, that it reminded them of their Audi Q7. They especially loved the heated/cooled seats and extremely spacious 2nd row, the actual usable 3rd row (my sister is about 5'3 or 5'4), Driver Talk (renamed Passenger Talk... I got to pretend to be a bus driver/tour guide), Quiet Mode, the Harman Kardon sound system, the premium cloth dark headliner, moon roof and the amazing OEM all weather floor mats.

I'm looking for some OEM bars for the roof. If I can secure some bars at a good price, I'll probably put a Yakima snowboard attachment or a space case on top further down the road. I didn't get the mud guards because I wanted some dirt on the sides, but maybe I should have reconsidered and thought a little harder about that. Now I have a microfiber "wash glove" from HFT that I use to clean the sides after it gets dirty.

The skid plate looks cool but yeah, the oil changes will be more involved. I'm okay with the standard skid guard for now but when I start taking the Telly off-road or do an overland trip, I'll definitely have to pick up the OEM skid plate.

I'm not going to tint my windows, but will pick up something like this for summertime:

I like the heavenly sweater. Seing more and more Tellurides in Tahoe lately. So far all owners I've asked give good reviews.

Nice catch. Got that over Thanksgiving 2019 when my family and my sister's family rented a vacation rental cabin for a week. Went to Heavenly one super-cold windy day and it was fun to snowboard somewhat like I used to do when I was younger and in better shape. Glad I got the sweatshirt as a souvenir of a fun trip to Tahoe. We also took everyone to Virginia City for a day trip. :)
