Looks like you're missing it, all right. It's small and doesn't do much but it's still odd....did you have an oil change done somewhere else, or is your car used?

No, the car is brand new - I did a proactive oil change today at 2400 miles, and it was not there. Will call dealer tomorrow to discuss

Looks correct. The small cover is in from of that opening.

Thanks all, the smaller cover (covers oil filter) is there. It just seems like there should be another cover for this larger opening

Sorry about that, is that it at the top of the picture? If the small cover is there, that's all there is from the factory. It looked to me like it was missing.
