If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So my update after test driving a 2021 S model at Kia Elgin and a 2021 VW Atlas. Just some quick background again: I have a 2018 lease on a Honda Odyssey that expires in Feb 2021. I really want a SX-P model Telluride but my wife wants a VW Atlas.

Ok, they both drove great. My wife is leaning towards the VW (unfortunately). However, the problem with the Telluride is that they had a $4k markup on the S. I asked if I could order an SX-P and put a deposit down and he said it might be a 10-12 month wait AND a potential MARKUP of $6k-$10k on the SX-P!!! This is a joke! I can't believe this... My hopes are shattered...

I guess I will have to "settle" for the Atlas, because I know I can at least get some savings/discounts on it when I purchase in Feb. Unless the Telluride supply increases and demand decreases in the winter (which I know it won't), I will have to get over my obsession with the Telluride...

I’m in a similar situation (you can find my post a few topics down) and without advertising for another brand, I’d suggest you at least look at the Genesis GV80 if you’re considering the Telluride SXP. Also the Hyundai Palisade, which you should be able to find at MSRP (maybe below?).

I hear you. I was watching and reading about Telluride for many months and I was waiting but I finally decided too shop more seriously (end of june) and thank god I did. I managed to get a gravity grey SX. It was hard to find I heard (apparently they did trades between 3 dealers).

I like the Palisade but not as much as the Telluride. I also like the GV80 but seems like it will be out of my price range... At least the model I want.

I would check with some of the reputable dealers on the forum and see what it would cost to ship as well as what they feel their delivery time would be...
