Shame Shame Know Your Name. What happened to just helping people?Update 1: Dealer that gave me problems called me up this morning and apologized, A person named Stephanie said I should come in and she will make it right. I get there, and nobody knows who she is and they give me the runaround that unless I get a new car through them they won’t take it in! SHAME ON YOU PLAZA KIA!
P.S. Before you ask, I cannot return it to my original dealer (long story).
My original lease was from a leasing dealer and not a dealership directly. They leased it from a dealer far up in upstate NY. I tried to contact that dealer but no response.I would like to know why you were not able to return to the original lease dealer. Secondly, Nostrand Ave dealers... BKLYN dealers... they are![]()
I don't know if you live in the NYC area, but welcome to NYC!I don't understand this whole transaction. I have returned many leases and sometimes left the car which at times was a different brand than what is was buying and never had a hint of an issue. They all brought the car back to the brand dealership for me. Is this normal Kia behavior?
Thanks again Jason for trying to help. Much appreciated.Shame Shame Know Your Name. What happened to just helping people?
Avoid NYC dealers in general, I worked at one years ago for a short time, it's enough to know all their problems and they haven't changed. But also accepting lease returns for them is a logistical nightmare, since space is at such a premium that a spot for a new car is being lost to a lease return they have to hold until the finance company comes to retrieve it.Avoid all Plaza dealers in NYC.
