• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... On some reman engine websites they call out a different part number for an AWD Telluride engine assembly and a FWD one. Near as I can tell there's no differences, but thought I'd ask here because I need to get a scrapyard engine to replace ours (news flash: top off your oil every month because ours didn't even make it to the oil change interval before it got so low it's now got rod knock).

Bueller? Anyone? Before I get a used engine I want to make sure there's no difference between the two.

Why would you trust a forum in buying an engine which I Doubt anyone here has done and not just ask your dealer?

Engine is the exact same. It's the transmission, transfer case, differential and computer that are different

Thanks. That's what the part searches were saying, but the reman engines kept asking if it was a FWD or AWD.
