UVO Engineer conversation and 2020 remote start

According to UVO engineer/customer service they are working on making available to 2020 customers an option to buy a Fob like the 2021 with built in remote start.

No details on availability but they said it’s because of all the negative feedback on UVO only remote start. The 2021 Telluride was their first integrated fob remote start and they won’t go back to an app only one again.

Fingers crossed available before next winter!

This is good news. The current situation is the biggest drawback to the ownership experience.

The 2021 Kia K5 (formerly Optima) also has integrated remote start and so does the 2021 Kia Sorento. This always used to be an additional port/dealer installed option.
