• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Uvo Lite Verification

I just want to confirm something that I think I'm understanding.
My wife just got the notification that the UVO service was downgraded to Lite.
We were told by the dealership that Remote Start would always be free.

This is not the case is it?
I just want to confirm before I go nuclear on this dealer.

Being a new member, the search tool is a great option to answer your question. I used it to find this

I'm a member of plenty of other forums so I did so first.
My search did not return the thread you posted.
It did not return anything overly final or recent on the matter.

Also as the context of my question implies I'm looking for verification, from a forum member, perhaps someone not bothered by answering a seemingly redundant question.
I see you're a "Well-known member", great, posting passive aggressive replies to brand new members does not invite conversation but encourages them to not engage with a community.

I see now at the bottom of the thread you posted there are clearly some users feeling the same warm welcome I received.
I'm no snowflake so I could care less about anything on this forum, but if you want to create a message board for a small group of people who are afraid to ask questions you've got the formula right.

Thank you for confirming.

If they think I'm paying for a service that only works 30% of the time they've got another thing coming.
We'll swing one more winter without it before we upgrade from another dealer.

If it even exists then which I'm sure it will.
 
I believe remote start from the key fob works without UVO and will always work. But from UVO app you will pay.

Yea we couldn't afford that level.
We were satisfied with the dealers empty promise of lifetime free remote start via the app.
I'm already so disappointed with how little UVO works my expectations were already lowered.

Wow, pissy, aren't we. passive aggressive is a perception - not necessarily reality. You asked for confirmation and I posted a link confirming your suspicion. Maybe you don't like the way I answered it - That's your problem, not mine. Nor did you ever say "I've looked around other places and couldn't find the answer, can someone........"
