• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi,

I have the trial for UVO. I haven't really used it for much since the navigation on my 2021 Telluride works fine. I occasionally used it to start my car from far away in the winter but, otherwise, I don't get a lot of mileage out of it.

ISSUE:

Occasionally, I get notifications on my phone. If I click on them, it opens the app, takes forever to open then informs me of some kind of completed task:

"You have successfully unlocked the doors"
"You have successfully started the engine" etc...

When I check the vehicle, I don't notice any change...but I seem to get a lot of these random notifications. I'd originally thought it was a delay from getting in and out of the vehicle/opening/closing doors. Until recently.

While I was at work, I got a notification and it told me my vehicle was successfully started. I checked the vehicle status in the app and, indeed, it was running. I went out to my car to find it running.

Yesterday, while getting my oil changed, it informed me I'd successfully locked the doors. My mechanic told me the doors had randomly locked with the keys inside - but they had the windows open, so no-sweat.

What worries me is what would have happened if it'd started while they'd had the oil drained. Or, worse, a mechanic had gotten injured because it had started.

I've been suspicious of my fuel economy - the gas gauge running lower between starts. Now I'm wondering if the car is randomly starting for periods during the day between drives.

Has anyone else had this issue??

Are you the second owner?
I would call UVO and speak with a live person that can check if the vin is somehow linked to another account.

It could also be that you’ve somehow created a schedule in the app for remote starts.

I'm the original owner. I will check to see about schedules in the app.
