• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The UVO remote start on my Telluride is not worth paying for because sometimes it will start in my home location and sometimes it won't. Go to larger cities with better cellular service and there is no problem. My question is, if you don't subscribe to the UVO will you still have navigation and the hands free options?
I use the nav a lot when traveling and with states passing new laws for cell phones, of course the hands free and voice activation options are needed.
Please respond. Since I had so much trouble with the APP remote start, Kia is offering an additional 3 months but nothing after that.

Yes, navigation use with the built in map and waypoints is free to use without Uvo link. If you wanted to search for a destination using internet though or Uvo assistant, that will not work without subscription.

Car play and android auto is also an option for navigation as well that will always be free. But you will need to have cell service or download the map area onto the app beforehand.

I think I somebody was saying in on another thread that you lose some voice command features when the subscription expires as well, but I have yet to see that as mine expires in 9 months.
