• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Does Kia uvo spy and collect personal data

No more than the cell phone in your pocket.

Or your credit card companies ... or your ATM ... or google ... or amazon ... or facebook ... or (insert many other things)

Honestly it's almost impossible to escape these days. The question is whether the benefit you receive is worth the added risk of one more company having data on you, and that's very much a different question.

Kia could probably care less about your personal info. But they will care about selling it to the highest bidder who can benefit from knowing your trip info, and most frequently visited locations. At the end of the day, the goal is usually targeted ad campaigns.

Do you visit target 3 days a week? Target will want to send you more coupons in the mail to keep spending.

I can think that in the future you will get a citation in the mail charging you with not stopping completely at an intersection or speeding or illegal u turn etc.
