Waiting game

Evening all!

I ordered my S AWD Telly the first week of Sept and was told a 2-4mo wait. Well, last week my every day driver had a catastrophic failure and I'm currently borrowing a car for the mean time. I called Murray Kia, where I placed my order and they updated the wait time to 7-9 months. Does that drastic increase in time sound about right?

That seems awfully long for an S AWD. I bet you can get one much sooner that that, though you may need to go out of state to do so. Look through the Good Dealer thread in the How to Buy a Kia Telluride section to find dealerships near you that charge MSRP.

I thought I went somewhere that had a speedy turn around....guess not.

I'm not sure if you got it in writing somewhere, but they've been quoting 6-8 on SX and 5-7 on other trims since at least May when I ordered. Recently they have extended their lead times a bit. They have been coming in much sooner than that, but their queue is huge, and they only get about 250 per year. So if you're 80-ish, it'll take about 4 months to be picked up, then another 1-2 for delivery. You're probably halfway through your wait, tbh.
