• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Anyone else love having the heated steering wheel on AND the seat cooling on at the same time? :)

Had a hot back yesterday driving back from the mountains and in my pre-Telluride days, I would adjust the thermostat to cool myself off but freeze everyone out. Then I thought, "I'll just turn on my seat-coolers in my new Telluride." Sure was nice.

No because it's FREEZING here! But I was just about to post something about how much I'm loving the heated steering wheel. I've wanted one since they first came out, and now...finally literally in hand!

Just remember, every option you have in this car will have to be there in your next car or you will seriously miss it. I guess the only thing missing from this is soft close doors which was kind of cool, but everyone would slam them and I got tired of telling them to let them close themselves! I had massagers in my Audi but thought that was a gimmick. Hand warmers are the bomb.

Hahaha exactly. The Telluride heated/cooled seats are amazing. I love that I can go for a run, get in the Telly, turn on the seat cooling, then when my back is all cool and dry, I can turn it off or if it's cold out, turn the seat into a heater :)

Stay warm @YAH DEF !! Same here. It's so nice to finally have a have a heated steering wheel to warm up those cold winter hands :)

There are a lot of great features in modern car technology but the heated steering wheel is up there as one of the more useful features when them hands get cold :)

It was 19 below zero in Minnesota yesterday, so .... warm everything! :)

As a 70+ person here in WNY, I love the heated steering wheel. My garage is heated to 40 degrees so I don't really need gloves to go any where. My hands feel as they are being being treated for arthritis. The heated seats are great also but I find I have to move them to the one light configuration quickly. The cooling seats can come as a surprise if one is not expecting and don't remember that they are turned on!

Anyone else’s significant other constantly reaching over to grab the heated steering wheel? No? Just mine? 🤣🖐🏻🔥

I whole heartedly agree. This is our second vehicle with heated steering wheel and I (incorrectly) thought “who needs a heated steering wheel in Tx?” Well, I do and every time I get in my “work truck” (it’s pretty dang nice), I think to myself, man I wish this thing had a heated steering wheel!

i did a good 4 hour drive on the weekend and found that the 2 setting for the heated seats is barely noticeable. where has 3 can become uncomfortable after a while it gets so hot. anyone else find that?

I really like 3 and 2. 1 is barely noticeable for me, but when we keep 3 bars (in freezing cold/snow/higher elevations) it's so nice and toasty and 2 is my warm for lower elevations.

The heated steering wheel does shut off after a while and, like some hot tubs/jacuzzis, all it takes is pushing the button again for another long stint of warm hands on the wheel. Must be a heating element/timer safety/nanny-feature kind of thing :ROFLMAO:

Anyone wish the heated steering wheel stayed on beyond the time limit?

Feels like I pushed the button 2-3 times during longer drives to keep the heat on :)

Nope, mine stays on for hours
Wow, amazing.

Mine sends a message to the screen between the analog gauge cluster that Heated Steering Wheel is turning off.

I wonder if the default is like the auto-off feature common on items containing heating elements (coffee machines, irons, hair curlers, etc.)

Is there a setting somewhere?
