  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... After initially wanting one bad enough that I would have driven hours to get the one I wanted, to then way over analyzing every single issue reported in the forums, and then even worrying about if I would like driving a Kia (typically BMW and MB owner)... I finally took the leap of faith and bought a white SXP with black interior today.

I’ve driven about 100 miles in it and so far all I can say is no regrets at all. Really quiet, tons of room, comfy seats, audio sounds good to me, enough power, and overall finish seems great. Really hoping not to run into some of the issues that have popped up for others but at the end of day 1, I’m impressed.

I’ll chime in if any of the other concerns others have raised show up in mine. My build date is late Oct. Good dealer experience (actually one of the most pleasant I’ve had). No discount, but also no markup and very straightforward about everything from the start. For those of you still on the fence, it might be worth taking the plunge - for me it was (at least so far..)

Congrats and welcome! Glad to see you were one of the few of us that jumped on the bandwagon lately without having to pay inflated prices...😉🤗

Congratulations!!!

Forum members are always interested in positive dealer experiences. Where did you purchase you new Telluride from?

Congrats....I ordered mine in April..after a long time researching.... I got it in August...almost 4 months to the day. Almost 1500 miles on it and not disappointed. My son I a MB, Audi, badge snob and once he drove the T-Ride...he a his wife want one. I have a Black on Black SXP/AWD/TOW... And I am learning more each time I drive it. All the tech is amazing to us. My newest vehicle is an 05 Hyundai Sonata...not much tech. Enjoy your new ride...and remember this... Even after forming out hundreds of thousands to build a new home...many find some issues as well... So if there is any in the New Toy... Just think about it and let your dealer know. So far... None here.

Congrats to you, too!

@Vietvet- agree on the house analogy. Going from your username, I hope you received a military discount- you deserve that and much more!

My dealer was Jim Shorkey Kia in North Huntingdon, PA.

Congrats and welcome to the club. 7k miles on mine and it’s been a pleasure.

T-Ride! Love it. 24 hours in to my Ebony SX. Such a step up from my 07 Cadillac that I’m reserving any in-depth criticism/praise (honeymooning). But I’m eager to delete the silver trimming and grill. I’d prefer it all black.

Ordered my SXP on 8/3 finally got my VIN & sticker on 10/31. Should hopefully be taking delivery 11/27.
