What is the purpose of this?

Designer said it ties the body to the wheel well liners,...............I think it's just a conversation starter..

The only thing I like about the new Telluride is the extra cargo space.

Moving the tailgate wiper blade up & the flush door handles, are improvements.
To my eye, the 2027's interior is copied from the Palisade.
What set the Telluride apart from other SUV's seems to be fading away..
