• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What did you do to your Telluride today?

Picked it up from being professionally ceramic coated!
Hi. Thinking of adding this to my Telluride. I picked mine up a month ago. I know very little about the process. Called a local shop with good reviews. They quoted me $1000. 7 year warranty/ two-part SiC ceramic coating.
I would love to hear from other Telluride owners who have this and if it is really worth it?

I've had my Telluride right over a month too. I did 1 step paint correction, and IGL Kenzo ceramic coating 5yr. He did whole vehicle included wheels and windows. I paid $1300.

Thanks for your response. Can I ask why you needed the paint correction?

The paint correction is a necessary step to ensure the paint is both clean and and (minor) scratch free. The coating fills in the microscopic valleys in the paint to provide a smooth surface. Even though it looks smooth to the eye, it's actually like a jagged mountain range of peaks and valleys. The paint correction smooths out the peaks and cleans out the valleys so the coating can adhere (and look) the best.

If you're interested, there is a detailing thread that goes into more depth: 2021 Telluride Detailing Thread

Thanks so much. I’ll check out that thread.

Can you share which phone mount/holder and black USB cords you purchased please?

These are the phone mount/holders I purchased in my other post here:

I got these 3 ft cables for my kids to use in the back seat. I plug into the side of the seatback and hang on the hook.

And these one foot cables for use on the driver phone to connect to CarPlay.

I'm going to go over 10,000 miles in the summer of 2023.

I got mine last week. Pricey for what it is, but definitely the best design.
Yeah for sure, I had to get corporate approval (aka wifey lol)

Installed the AlexRacing strut tower bar today. It came white and I painted it black.
