• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What did you do to your Telluride today?

How difficult was the process mind sharing steps for a noob? I’ve been interested in doing this and haven’t seen another owner do it, looks nice!

Edit: are the seat adjustment buttons aftermarket? Our 24 SX-P doesn’t have them
When you buy the kia lighted door sills, they come with instructions. So if you are handy and can follow instructions, its not difficult. The only different on the 23 and 24 models is the wires they mention are in a different spot, but not hard to figure out as I stated above. As for my silver seat adjustment buttons, those are covers that stick over the oem buttons and make it looks like buttons you might see in Audi or BMW. You can find them on several sites. GL.

Mind sharing where you bought the covers. They actually look nice!

Thanks. They do offer a nice pop

Haaah! Yea, I know, nothin' yet. But let's use our imaginations for the time being. What WOULD you do to your Kia Telluride if you had it?

I have a Red Telly and decided the rear lettering looked better in black. No decals…..removed and replaced the letters in matte black. Looks great! Used decals front and rear on the KIA emblem In the American flag colors.

Fishing wire or dental floss, patience, and bug & tar remover...
I found a hair dryer made quick work of the job. DON’T substitute a heat gun! Hair dryer works great!

Added a 2inch eibach lift kit. Springs seem to work with tow package! Will update once I get more miles on it. Definitely makes my new tires look small. Overall happy, but I might have to change tires out for beefier ones. IMG_4060.jpeg

Had some new wheels and tires installed. 20x8.5 +38 and 265/50/20. Unfortunately there is some rubbing at full lock so all the comments i read about no rubbing for that tire size didn't apply to my situation. It's probably rubbing because of the size of the wheel and not the tire. But it gives that subtle look that I was wanting, less spokes to clean and the wheels and tires poke out just enough for me. +35 would have been too much.

How has the eibach lift gone? I have the tow package and tow my trailer with mine and would like a better ride in the back.

Lift is good! Definitely less of a saggy feel and more firm with the lift kit. My ride quality wasn’t bad to begin with. If you’re noticing some rear end issues I’d get the shocks checked out. There is an extended warranty/ tsb on them if they need replacing. Putting on the lift will void the warranty for the suspension, I took the chance because mines been updated (new isolators and a shock was replaced as it was leaking). Plus im getting close to the original warranty’s expiration date. I dont know how the lift kit will affect the new extended warranty. I’m a little concerned if I have suspension issues again they’d point to the lift. But having that tsb recall should help, one would hope. Best of luck! Also I haven’t towed anything yet, I’d imagine it would be the same.

Thanks! I do need to get them checked out. it does come up to ride height when pulling the trailer but it is still a dismal ride if you ride in 2nd or 3rd row.
