• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What did you do to your Telluride today?

I left the wheels on while I sprayed.

When you say wheels, did you mean tires? If you left the rims on the car while spraying, how would it not get all over the brake discs and caliper?

Personally speaking, I prefer the classic “k” on front badge, with the “KIA” on the rear badge. I have no issue with the telluride lettering front and back. Looks good. And I love the classic “k”.
Maybe the classic “K” on the wheel caps and steering wheel too.
The Korean car makers should be proud of where they are going, quality, innovation and value for $ in North America.
So I am not “embarrassed” to show the KIA emblem, as bland as it looks. I have no issue remembering where they started and where they are headed... for the top....
In fact, I welcome the comments “You bought a KIA?”. Makes us all look like we did our homework prior to buying. Let them google it to see that it won every award there is to win for a 3-row SUV. And it looks GREAT to boot !!!
I previously owned Nissan Pathfinder (pre-kids), Toyota Sienna (young children), Honda Pilot (teenagers), and now, a KIA Telluride.
Switching to Kia, was not as much a bold decision, as it was an educated one. Above average predicted reliability by Consumer reports, GREAT warranty, TOP crash-test ratings, above average fuel economy for category, huge interior space (including adult size 3rd row, unlike the pathetic Highlander version), luxury-level interior finish & technology, all at a “bargain” price tag. Sounds too good to be true. Let’s hope the car doesn’t fall apart... 😂 but I don’t think it will.
Kia surpassed Honda in 2020 JD Powers vehicle dependability study (for 2017 vehicles), and Korean Genesis ranked #1 among all brands. I suspect by 2023, when it’s time to assess 3-year reliability of our 2020 vehicles, Kia and Hyundai will be equal to Toyota, as one of the most reliable car makers in the North America market. Except their cost will creep up. So buy them while you can... 😂
Can you tell I’m excited to get my new telluride this week ? 😂

Very nice summary of how Kia and Hyundai are capturing the market. This Telluride is a Grand Slam of SUVs.

Hello Telly owners~ How are you all doing lately?
During this pandemic, I was bored and tackled to remove the piano black center console and rear cup holder.
Thanks to all who shared their experience and how to do it.

I was trying to write all them down step by step BUT I was so tired after all.. lol

If you guys have any questions about how to?
please let me know I would answer your questions as much as possible.

Best,

Have you guys done ceramic coating?
I haven't but I was trying to get some good deal from my local.. but the price is really really high!!
I did ppf for all front and pilar and was going to do ceramic but price is..

However, today I did my self detailing[first time and newbie for detailing], finishing with spray detailer.
I am going to test out water beating tmr. The forecast says that it would rain tmr till next several days.

What do you guys think? I was pretty impressed with the spray detailer.

The ceramic coating is a must to do? I want to hear from all Telly owners' opinions!!

:]

Best,

P.S - I am planning to install the bull bar. Any recommendation, please??

If you have the time and patience, then by all means do your own ceramic coat, you will save tons of money. Just make sure you get a good quality ceramic coat sealer, also make sure that your paint is completely clean and error free for the best results. What you have shown here looks VERY nice.

Do you have any product that in your mind or have you ever used any good one? Thanks for your comment!! : ]

Here you go! It looks really good. We also did a clear bra on the front and ceramic coat on the paint. If anyone in phx wants a recommendation let me know! I have a great place in Tempe.

Hi. I'm in Gilbert and looking for a place for the clear bra and a ceramic coat. What place did you use in Tempe? Everyone is overpriced so far IMO, close to 3k for ceramic coat and clear bra. Looking for different quotes. Thanks
I used trash bags and duct tape as a bra to save money. Looks tremendous!

You can try Alladin's in the west valley. 91st and the 101. He did window tint on my black XS and thought he said ceramic was less than $1000.

Recently got my Kia sport windvisors and rear cargo mat. Nice day out and still gotta wash her up but, took some pics.

Looks nice, but even before I took delivery, I made the dealer remove their logo sticker. You should do the same. You are giving them free advertising.
But to each his own. Enjoy.

Yeah I know right, I remember looking at it when I was finished rebadging and was like, "Dayumm! ". Will be taking it off soon

Switched out for the black letters and changed the emblems.
