• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Kia Telluride SX - SMART , ECONOMY, COMFORT , SPORT

I am a fan of Smart on the highway and comfort on local roads. However, lately Sport is good but a bit too fast for me since I’m heavy on the foot. How about you and why?

Primary: Sport

Sport Mode is best for active driving.

When you need to best use your Telly's engine, nothing beats the feel/response in Sport.

Eco: under certain conditions, i'll use this mode:

If I'm driving a long empty freeway at night with little to no traffic and I can afford to basically coast for long stretches without having to brake or make adjustments, then this mode is best for coasting/passive driving. Again, only certain situations call for this, otherwise Eco is way too weak/mushy for active driving.

I use smart because it basically defaults to this all the time. It is supposed to "learn" your driving habits FWIW.

I prefer comfort 99% of the time, and sport if I'm merging on to the highway. From my unofficial testing ECO doesn't give me any better MPG then comfort. Its about the same.

Comfort Mode. On a recent roadtrip across 6 states and hitting harsh weather conditions, Comfort proved to be my go to mode. I was getting an average of 28mpg at one point of time too! To me it is versatile in all conditions.
