• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have a 2021 SX and so far, I have:

  • Changed the reverse lights to LED
  • Had a custom dash cover made/ installed
  • Installed those "Stop Drop" inserts between the front seats and the center console (prevents stuff from dropping down between the seat and console)
  • Installed OEM mud flaps (looks nice but they are essentially useless)
  • Added a 360 Dash Cam (hard wired it)
  • Bought a nice hand-made leather Fob cover from an outfit in Korea (via Etsy)
  • Bought a colllapsible carge basket rom Amazon (every bit as nice as the one that says "Telluride" but for half the price).
  • Added a four-hole license plate mount on the rear
  • Added a cup-holder mounted iPhone holder - similar to Weather Tech, but much less $

Things I still plan to do:

  • Ceramic Coating
  • Tint front windows to be closer to the rear windows
  • Install all-weather cargo mat (I REALLY want the one they sell at the dealers in Canada with the 60/40 split for the third row)

How do the mud flaps look?

Did you check out the Weather Tech mud flaps ? They are a lot more "substantial" and install easily ....

Had the WeatherTech flaps been available at the time I probably would have gone with them. Maybe one of these days I'll switch them out.

PS: to get back to the original topic - I'm interested to hear what others have done to their Tellys so far?

Those definitely look more functional than the OEM flaps I have! Thanks for posting the pics.
No problem. I didn't pay for those stubs thay had was just going to wait until the WeatherTech ones were available.

2021 EXP-NF w/Tow. Wolf Grey
Things I've done:
-tinted front 3 to match back 5
-added crossbars to roof rails
-added WeatherTech mud guards
-painted exhaust tips gloss black (why they
released a Nightfall edition with chrome tips
I will never understand)
-front license plate holder
-screen protector for in dash screen

Ordered/Awaiting:
-cargo liner (rubber for 3rd row backs/ trunk)
-cargo liner (water proof cloth for entire back to
cover 2nd row seat backs)
-new badges
-proximity lock/unlock module
-mesh grill screens for behind grill

Planning/wish list:
-new AT tires
-wheel spacers vs new offset wheels
-carbon wrap window pillars and better window
Trim blackout
-fog-lights / DRLs
...plus some more I'm sure...

Not much.

She's basically stock with a trailer hitch American Flag cover CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum (FlagsNHitches - Etsy store)

Future possibilities:

* Borla Axle-Back Exhaust if the exhaust tips align correctly and if I can get friends-and-family or factory pricing or Oxnard discount :)

* DIY custom CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum spring-loaded compression locking button assembly to replace the ridiculous Auto Start/Stop Idle Stop/Go button that annoys me to have to push every time I start the car.

* DIY Coatings: When I get the Cerakote applicators, I'll Cerakote the calipers, trailer hitch receiver and other minor trim pieces and other things, matching the original colors or as close to the original colors as possible.

* DIY illuminated scuff plates, maybe.

* DIY Make the rear moon roof detachable somehow

* Riot Glass for the front windshield

* DIY make a snow plow attachment that can be bolted on/off the frame with some sort of DIY quick-attach/detach mechanism.

2021 SX Black Copper Nightfall AWD
Ceramic coating
Tinted front 2 windows to match rear
OEM Kia All weather floor mats
OEM Mud Flaps. Agreed, not so functional, but look decent. They help a little?

Getting ready to paint calipers Black to match the Nightfall theme
Want to paint/modify chrome exhaust tips. I agree with BRNXBMR Why do all the Nightfall touches and leave a chrome exhaust? WTF

I am thinking about Caliper covers when I do wheel spacers. Was wondering about color and leaning towards black for NF theme. Please post pics when done.
The painting of tips was easy, no need to take them down just tape off. I painted all thecwzy back so no silver showing on pipes or muffler.

-painted exhaust tips gloss black (why they
I'd love to see pictures of that! It's a good question - with everything else blacked out, why flasky chrome exhaust tips? I've also read on someone painting, not just the tips, but the muffler that is visible from behind as well.

That was me. I painted the tips/pipe and muffler so from the back you see no chrome.Collage 2021-03-24 12_48_24.webp20210318_161300.webp20210318_161238_HDR.webp

Which 'stop drop' inserts did you get?

I added weathertech floor mats
"Stop Drop" inserts
Rain guards
Window tint
Ambient floor lights for the 1st and 2nd row
Cargo basket
Cargo cover
US Navy license plate cover
USB cables with multiple connections for 2nd row passengers
Also bought the hand made leather fob holder(from the same place)

Planning on installing the Kia hood deflector; hopefully the airflow will keep rocks etc from leaving small chips on the windshield
