Dang sorry about the rock. That was hugeI had a rock fall on my hood so I had the center of the hood painted a textured satin black after they fixed it.

Those are Ditch Lights. My kids call them my Sasquatch Lights. I have to drive 7 miles of dark switchback roads to/from my house and they blaze a pretty good trail. What’s with those lights affixed to the rear part of the hood?
Omg. What a trip wow. Glad everybody is okLol. It did. Scared theout of us. Also broke the front passenger window.
I do like the lights a lotOmg. What a trip wow. Glad everybody is ok
That's cool. Where in NJ? I was born in Jersey City and grew up in Bergen County.I’m a Tulane dad too!
4 months and still look good. Might need a new clear coat but only if you look closeHow are the painted exhaust tips holding up?
Taped off and covered bumper. Light sanding to 'rough' it up. 4 coats black 3 coats clear. Done in less than 2 hours.I was wanting to know this myself. What type of prep work did people do?
Wow, I grew up in Colorado and know there are some treacherous roads in the Rockies. Must be real fun in theThose are Ditch Lights. My kids call them my Sasquatch Lights. I have to drive 7 miles of dark switchback roads to/from my house and they blaze a pretty good trail.

Are you thinking this is something you’ll have to touch up every 4-6 months?4 months and still look good. Might need a new clear coat but only if you look close
Damn I think that is awesome. WowsersNightfall had just one piece of brightwork and it just bugged me when I looked at the rear of the Telly. Took some time today to change that. Purchased some spray paint, removed the exhaust and made it look better. The paint actually almost an exact match to the window trim. I think this just looks so much better.
The Paint:

Scuffed the exhaust with a drill mounted scuff pad and four coats of paint:

Finished Project: I think this subtle change just looks so much better, no brightwork now.

Yes, but it could have been much worse. We felt pretty lucky after seeing this around the next turn.Damn that would ruin my day for sure!!
I love snow, but driving the snow covered mountain roads in the winter isn't for everyone. It's abundantly clear that having a Texas license place makes it extremely difficult to drive in the mountains in the winter. I've seen it a million times.Wow, I grew up in Colorado and know there are some treacherous roads in the Rockies. Must be real fun in the![]()
Holy sheets! And that’s a propane truck!Yes, but it could have been much worse. We felt pretty lucky after seeing this around the next turn.![]()
