• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What have you done / plan to do to your Telly?

Do you have a pic of this? Considering blacking out the top and bottom of the grille and the window wrap things. I have a black SX.
I had it wrapped not knowing if I'd like it. I figured I could peel it off if I didn't. I also had considered trading for a 2022. Now that I've decided against that, I just made an appointment to get it painted in a couple weeks. The wrap was done in October, it has held up well but does have one big rock chip.

The paint job is only going to be about $60 more than what I paid to wrap it and that includes the labor to remove the wrap. I like the shiny grill with the black surround on my ebony black. I think it does just enough to change the look so I didn't have to go to the trouble of blacking out more trim. Honestly, if I wanted the Nightfall, I'd just order one. The trade values are so high, I'd just start fresh with a new car with little penalty. The cost difference would probably be a wash vs paying to black out what you have.

You blacked out exactly what I’m thinking of blacking out, just the outline of the grill and windows. I think it looks great.

Your car looks very shiny. Did you apply a special ceramic coating?

No, it was probably 2 days old in the top picture and a month old when I got the grill wrapped so it was probably still relatively clean. The lighting at the Honda dealer where I took the pictures probably makes it look better than it was.

Planning on installing the Kia hood deflector; hopefully the airflow will keep rocks etc from leaving small chips on the windshield
Did you ever do this? What does it look like and how well does it perform?

Just received and installed the new WeatherTech Kia Telluride Side Window Deflectors (In-Window Channel Rain Guards) – Front Pair Only

Easy and quick installation - less than 5 minutes per side.

They fit perfect. Can't wait for the rear window pair to be produced by WeatherTech.

Just ensure you have the front plastic guard (clear protective tape already applied) resting on the window "sill", not just over the weatherstripping. If this is installed incorrectly, it could rip your rubber weatherstripping and the window will roll up and then back down automatically as it will have resistance when it hits the new plastic window guard (see image below for proper placement - green box).

That's crazy. Glad everyone is OK.

Your tires look so cool. Are those stock size, is your telly lifted?
Yes, we're glad it was just the car. Thank you.
The tires are 265/60 r18. GY DuraTracs. I had them on without a lift and now it has a 2" lift. There was minor rubbing both with and without the lift at full turn but in different spots. I pushed out the spots where it rubbed using a heat gun and a water sports paddle to push it out.

I did glossy and happy with it. blends in with the other glossy bumper piece for a cleaner look.

That’s interesting I did matte black to match the matte black higher above and you did glossy black to match the piece directly above it. we should get peoples opinions on whether the glossy looks better or the matte looks better? Lol.

Engine paint. Here's exactly what I used.

If I decide to go gloss black instead, should I buy gloss black paint or just apply gloss clear over the matte?
