• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What haven't you tried with your Telly yet to fully use all of its features?

Examples:

1) My car is usually the family or outing car, because it's larger than any of the others, so we use it when we all head out to an event or gathering. Or my son uses it to take friends and their equipment snowboarding. But since getting the Telly last September, we haven't had a single opportunity for a group to go anywhere (stay at home orders, hills closed, etc). As a result, no-one has even sat in the second row, let alone the third. Only the front seats have been occupied.

2) I haven't tried the AC yet, because it's been cold since I got the car.

I'm sure there are other things I haven't yet tried, but those two came to mind this morning.

I've been using for hauling. Dishwasher, King and queen headboard. Used the roof rack for one of the headboards since it was all the same to trip. Nice to have a bigger SUV for this. Took a 10 hour ride to our house in NC. Plenty of room with three and luggage.

Love it. So useful! 👍

But was wondering, what haven't you used it for yet....

Yeah, I got a little off by thinking of what I have done. I plan to use it this summer for some beach driving. The last time I used an MDX and it was a disaster.

I haven’t used the USB charging ports on the back of the passenger front seat.....I just found it yesterday 😂

Nothing behind my front row has been used....USB chargers, cup holders, heat.... It's a travesty! Lol.

Haven’t used the adaptive cruise control, park assist, or the snow traction mode. The last one will be handled this weekend when I head up to northern AZ to my cabin that got absolutely slammed last week, 3’+ of snow

Also haven’t sat anyone in the 3rd row, but we didn’t buy it to constantly have people in it.

Tried the rain-sensing wipers last week when it was raining, not really a fan. Seemed like it couldn’t figure out if it wanted to be fast or slow when the rain was steady, and it was fighting itself between some algorithm between rain density and road speed. Not sure what the real logic is for the computer to analyze but it was stumbling a bit.

Also haven’t used the wireless Apple car play... oh wait 🙃

Have not tried towing anythign yet. I expect I'll be doing that on a small scale soon. I often rent a small 4x8ft U-haul trailer from a shop up the road for trips to the dump. I expect to be making such a trip soon as it's garage cleaning time again.

Snow mode is legit. My wife is coming from an Odyssey so her comparison is skewed but driving her Telluride in snow mode, it handles much better than my AWD Pilot

Be interesting to hear about snow performance. There's also some way to get 50/50 power to front and rear wheels if you get super stuck, but I actually don't know how to do it! Lol. Add "deep snow driving" to my haven't done it yet list.

Report back when done!

Pretty sure you just press the diff lock button in the drive mode section down and it does it up to like 25-30mph or something.

I really like the cruise control but you’ll probably want to adjust the distance the telluride keeps from the car ahead, it’s far to large.
I didn’t know the car had park assist!! What does it do?? Need to read the manual on that I guess!
I haven’t used snow mode and don’t suspect I will anytime soon.
I haven’t used remote start, the tailgate auto open function, or A/C yet.

Wolf27, where in northern Arizona is your cabin? I’m just outside of Flagstaff. We only got about a foot and a half of snow where I’m at, and it’s practically all gone. We got a little rain out here which helped melt it some.

Where is this button? What does it look like?
Just press the center down.

Munds Park. They got absolutely clobbered. We were going to go up last weekend but they hadn’t really gotten the main roads done yet and the bank in front of our driveway was a little over 4’ and we hadn’t had a plow come yet. Neighbor sent the first pic looking up at our deck, during the storm, and neighbor across the street sent the 2nd pic after the plow finally made it through lol.

Yeah, that’s quite a bit more snow than we got up here. Munds Park normally gets more snow than we do.

I guess that was misleading on “park assist”. It’s not like it has the parallel self-park thing or Hyundai’s “smaht pahk” (dumbest commercials ever), I meant the front camera when pulling in to see the curb. Wife uses it because... well, her depth perception is off let’s just say. I figured I’d use it a lot but I pull in and creep forward till I’ve parking in the spot, pop it in park abs look down and go “oh shoot I coulda used that, oh well, next time”.

Alright, my car doesn't have that. I have four modes to the left - comfort, eco, sport and smart - and three terrains to the right - snow, mud and sand. I think this is a Canadian thing.
