• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So the spot where one would place their foot to get in.

Thank you.

Ground clearance is 8". Does that answer your question?
No, so where someone would place their foot to get in. The picture shows my Outback that's about 16.5". I'm just wondering what the Telluride is. I'm thinking about getting side steps for my kids and inlaws.

This is the exact question I came here for. I'm short. Can't find one to test drive yet.

Yes, that seems to be the problem around me too. I'm picking up a cargo mat soon from the dealership, maybe a customer's vehicle is there I can look at. Someone who lives across the street has one but I've never met them. But I may ask. Kind of an odd conversation starter, lol.

Oh thank you!! Looks like pretty close to my outback maybe 17"?
Yeah, somewhere in that area. Tough to capture by myself.

I have the side steps.

Ground to top of side step: just over 9”

Top of side step to sill: just over 8”

Many Telluride owners would be happy (and flattered) to talk about their car and show it to you. :)

Bonus illuminated scuff plate shot! 😆
Haha! I am noticing now that they are illuminated in the photo. I rarely drive at night so I don’t get to enjoy how nice they look.

Telly talk sounds like the perfect icebreaker!
