• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What would your second choice have been?

I think the Sangria with Nightfall looks fantastic and would have been a hard choice for me between that and the black copper....if it was avail on prestige. Since it was not....

First choice: Glacier White Pearl, which is what we purchased with gray interior
Second Choice would have been Everlasting Silver with gray interior

When I was first checking out the Telluride, I used the official KIA website to look at different colors and initially was set on Everlasting Silver as my first choice with Dark Moss as my second choice.

Upon visiting my closest local dealer (the one that wanted an almost $10k markup), they had a Snow White LX and an Everlasting Silver S in stock. For some reason the mismatch between the ES color on the website and ES color in person didn't sit well with me. It was darker than my expectations and more of a blue-gray than the brighter silver color shown on Kia's website, so I decided to go for a Telly in Dark Moss with SWP as a second choice when it was time to order.

Since them, I've learned to appreciate the other Telly colors, especially Black Copper, GG and Everlasting Silver/Gray.

Saving my money and not buying anything right now ;)

I have Glacier White and love it. Wasn’t really a choice, I needed a car, walked into the dealer, and that’s what they had in SX. If I had a choice, the black copper is really stunning. They had a wolf grey in EX and honestly I thought it was hideous.

I love my Everlasting Grey so much. If someone steals it I'm just going to buy a new one!!

I would have purchased black, because, well, all my vehicles are black. But my wife wanted Sangria, so that;'s what we ordered. I like it, but I would have personally preferred black. Here's a photo of my summer drive. And yes, I wouldn't add "red bits" to the Telluride if it were black. lol

Yup, this new trend of unfinished paint primer look is 🤮
Yup, I hear ya. It's one of those topics that really creates division in the ranks. I too am not a big fan of flat paint finishes, because in my eyes it just looks like badly oxydized paint. And others will rave about how incredible it looks. On the plus side, I guess owners don't have to worry about waxing or finish deterioration, because they paid to have it look that way to begin with. Maybe its a "distressed" look. lol

Just goes to prove the old addage about different strokes for different folks. So hey, for folks that go with that type of finish and like it, great that you have options in a finish you like.

I think it depends on the type of car. My first new car was a 1992 Jeep Wranglers Sahara with matte green paint and tan accents. I never had to wash that car which was awesome. I thought I would love the Wolf Grey but in the end it was like number 5 on my list. It is very interesting I just wonder how I'd feel about it when my car is 15 years old.

The wolf gray is not a flat paint. It has metallic in it like other Telluride colors. Must not have seen one in-person....

I actually like the Sangria a lot but I realized very quickly everyone would have thought it was my wife's car so Sangria never entered the race for me but I do like wine and sangria :)

That's a very interesting analogy. Forgot to add that I have a Sangria and of course I bought it for my wife and that's what she wanted even when a neighbor who is about 10 blocks away has Sangria as well.. Will definitely be getting my personal one in Everlasting Silver.

I have Sangria EX-P AWD with Tow

I like Sangria and Everlasting Silver equally. Ended up with Sangria because that was what the dealership had on the lot and selling at MSRP.
