• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Going to pull the trigger on doing led light bar install above the license plate and wondering who has run the harness through the firewall and where they went .

Thanks
Pic a plus 👍

It's impossible to take a photo and show me the engine bay , I know exactly where you went in at just trying to get a mental picture on the engine Bay part ?

Thanks

Let me see if I have a few pictures. Kinda hard to see but here it goes. In the last 2 pictures you can see where I ran the wire inside the rubber grommet and you can see the white plastic connector that I still had to pull through it. It took some force but eventually got it through. 8C4D963D-FB82-414C-B29B-3F31CA28B92C.jpeg82A7B716-3374-454B-BF59-C15B9E6A2DAE.jpeg0984649C-D654-4F2B-98DB-179B1D6A8DFD.jpeg

On this trailer break setup how does it button-up to the back end and how is this installed ?
Mine only has the factory 4 pin back with no trailer break.

Thanks

Curious if I remove this how much free space is there underneath it ?20220324_181157.webp

No haven't gotten around to it yet weekends are usually my free time that is when my honey do list isn't so big

I’m trying to decide if I want to just buy a roof rack and install a light bar on top…or do it thru the grill…

I like both ideas but as time goes by the roof rack basket with the light bar seem more likely.
The basket has to been able to allow me to mount my roof cargo carrier.

I sprayed it with bedliner.

I'm wondering if there's a way to run the light bar in the bumper without having to take the bumper off going to look at it this weekend.

Yeah, I’m leaning towards getting a roof rack and attaching the light bar to the roof rack.
If I end up going for a lower price roof rack until later I'm going to get a bed liner sprayed just because I don't want any rust leaking down on top of the vehicle

What rack and light bar did you go with? Are you running the harness down your windshield trim.

I bought a cheap rack and light bar from Amazon. The wires fit pretty neatly down the windshield trim. It’s on top but there’s a little space to tuck it in. I just used some
Silicone to glue it in
