• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Our new Everlasting Silver EX has a heavy duty staple between the tread and is sitting in the driveway with a flat. I'm thinking I should pump it up and take it to dealer. Will they fix or insist on new tire? Wondering if I should just take it to local tire shop. Bummer, but it will be fixed up quick no matter what.

There is no warranty by Kia for tires. Go to a local shop

If you have a sam's club membership, repairs are free I think

Any tire place will usually patch for free. If it's in between the tread it is more than likely repairable. Takes about 30 minutes usually. Even if they charge you, it's usually only like $20 or so.

No (and rightfully so). Tires are outside of the car warranty.

A few months ago - My wife’s new optima ended up with a nail in the sidewall of her front tire. Less than 200 miles on the car. We had to buy a new tire. 😉

However- considering yours is in the tread - the dealership may fix it for free (most tire places will).

Thanks all. I took to local shop. Charged me $20, but fixed it right up. It was sad to see it listing so hard with a flat. But she's back to full posture!
