• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I noticed air leakage/wind noise by the driver side window when driving above 20 MPH.. Sounds like the window isn't sealed all the way. It's a rather annoying issue. Sounds like the door is actually cracked open. That's how bad it sounds.

I've read quite a few posts about the same issue with no remedy or solution or DIY fixes...

Anyone who has gotten it permanently fixed somehow?

I've got the same issue, and also find it VERY annoying. I've tried several DIY fixes, but no luck yet. I'm not even certain if the problem is with the door or the window. I haven't talked to the dealer yet, but several comments herein sound like that hasn't done any good either. It should be a warranty issue. Has anyone had any luck with a dealer fixing it ?

I worked at a Dealership in the 70’s and 80’s and to find wind noise from your front door or window, we took a piece of paper or something similar and closed the window or door down on it, then we slid the paper to the area where it was looser than the rest of the seal. The Dealership can correct the contact of the door as well as checking the alignment of the window by removing the inner door panel. Yes it’s covered under your warranty. Doesn’t pay the technician well to find the “noise“, only to fix it once they determine the source.

Makes me wonder if the dealers purposely make the wind noise happen before handing over to the consumer...why is it always on the drivers side
The tech gets paid under warranty to fix it at the dealers

So all these complaints about this issue but there’s no one coming back with what they had done to fix it. Dealer fix it? Bug guard? Wind guard? Tape?
I think people get there’s fixed and no reason to return to the site to share their solution😒
