If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Worse case scenario has happened

GV80 is definitely a nice option but cost is significantly higher. Base model after destination charge is just shy of 50k then jumps 3k for a base AWD and is loaded up at 73k without any port installed options. so loaded to loaded is still a 26k difference.. I would not say it is the same cost
While I really think the GV80 is an attractive SUV, I think it comes at the price of interior space. The car seems much more compact on the inside compared to the Telly/Pallisade, even though it’s a couple inches longer. That sloping roof line towards the rear looks like it really eats into the third row head room. Considering my purchase is for a future growing family, I think the Telly is much better suited for my needs.

The Telluride SX at MSRP is a good value , locally in Florida dealers are asking and getting 3 or 4K above MSRP , this is not a good value, the whole leave a 1K deposit we will get you one when we can also leaves a bad taste .
Kia if supply does not soon catch up to demand will face very stiff competition from its cousin Genesis , coming summer 2020 GV80 is a beast, cost about what Kia dealers are raping everyone on right now for a SX at 3K over MSRP. There are videos on youtube of GV80 in south beach , it is a beautiful vehicle packed with features.
Genesis unseated Lexus a 5 time in a row winner as JD Powers most reliable this year, I think the GV80 will be a better value if things stay the same . Best wishes to everyone

Yes, comparing a fully loaded Telluride to a base GV80 is an apples and oranges comparison. My SX-P for a little over $50k including taxes, has everything but running boards and the tow package. The GV80 for about the same price as my Telly will be a lesser vehicle. The reality is that the Telluride in comparison with what else is out there, is likely $3-$8k underpriced, which is why dealers are charging and getting so much over MSRP. A lot of the features that I thought were frivolous, the heads-up display, the super abundance of safety features, cooled and heated seats are now features that I rely on. And I do love the space. The main thing that would tempt me in the GV80 is if the more powerful engine and tuning made it perform like a Porsche Cayenne. But that would take me well beyond the $50k range, which already stretched the boundary of my comfort zone.

In the end it's.............get what you want and the Telluride ( particularly the SX P ) is simply the "most for the buck" and "most" means: space & comfort, capability, luxury, quality and tech. Others may have more of one or the other......but KIA hit the perfect blend for the best price. I am proud to own one.

Ok, similar problem here. I'm not going to say this is a "worst case scenario" (I can think of plenty of other bigger problems right now.)

My dealer says my vehicle will be here tomorrow! 😁 . BUT, I ordered a GRAY interior, and he said it's BLACK. Otherwise, it's the exact vehicle I requested. He is admitting it was his mistake. Do I accept his apology and get a great vehicle tomorrow, or do I make a big deal out of it and wait another 2-3 months. While I'd prefer Gray interior, I really don't think Black is the end of the world..

Any opinions?
I ordered black but would accept grey. That being said, I would not take any other interior color. It really comes down to personal preference.
