Worth the wait ...

Thank you for the pic... I have the almost the exact build out (minus Prestige), which was supposed to be here last Saturday... now saying 9/7... This post helps me take a deep breath and the wait will be worth it.

Yes it will. But dang if those last couple weeks weren't torture as we kept passing other Tellurides on the road. Our salesman thought he had one coming in for us on 8/13 only to find out they suddenly weren't getting any more until the 28th. At least that held true, and he told us they were starting to see more Tellys on the trucks that were coming in, so hopefully supply will get a bit closer to demand. Almost there, bud!

I hear that! I never thought I'd be seriously considering, in fact putting a downpayment on, a Kia.

I second and third that sentiment. KIA has come a *long* way in a short time.
It was the sharp-edged Optima that first got my attention a few years ago. I kept trying to like the Hyundai variants, but they just aren't as good looking.
The Palisade's giant grill looks like a whale shark trying to eat krill.

I was wowing my 3.5yo son this evening by changing the ambient light every time he named a color. It looks best with red. Not sure who was enjoying it more.

Hey all! Happy to join this community of Telly owners.
We just brought home our Black 2021 SX w/ Prestige PKG (Nightfall) yesterday after an excruciating 9 months of waiting. We actually started shopping for a 2020 model back May of last year but were finally able to pull the trigger on ordering one in December. Through pandemic delays and model-year switches it was a long wait, reading glowing review after glowing review. At least we knew we had chosen the right car, it was just frustrating not getting to drive it sooner. I have spent way too much time just sitting in it and thumbing through the owners manual, giggling like a school boy.
Our last new car was a 2007 Honda CR-V EX-L and we still have it. We've been a Honda family for years and years but Honda has gotten a little stale (and pricey for what you get). I've kept an eye on KIA (and Hyundai) for a while now and felt like in the last few years they've finally hit their stride (hitting the right blend of styling, reliability, quality, and affordability). Then I saw the Telluride announced and fell in love.
Couldn't be happier with the end result.

We are actually considering a Seltos to replace the CR-V when it finally gives up the ghost.View attachment 9782
