• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Zurich Shield Blocking Seat Ventilation?

One of the add-ons we purchased for our new Telly was Zurich Shield, protective coatings inside and out with accompanying warranty against stains, scratches, etc.

We had to wait a week after delivery of our vehicle to schedule the coatings application. We’ve noticed that the ventilated seats appear to be moving less air through the seat surface after the leather protectant was added compared to the week prior.

Is it possible that the seat protectant has somehow clogged up the ventilation holes in the seats??

Before: 3 blue lights would freeze my a$$ off, 1 would cool comfortably

Now: Barely feel 1 blue light, 3 lights feels like what 1 light did previously

Thoughts?

Sounds probable. Not sure what the corrective action would be at this point short of replacing the seat or seat cushion.

This stuff would have to have the consistency of polyurethane to actually block the openings which I doubt. Are you sure it's not the operating of these seats that's the issue? It's been brought up in other threads that the operating of these seats isn't as simple as they may seem.
