If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... There are a few red flags, but do what you like.

Anything that says "accessories (chemical compound)" makes me wonder. I don't like mysterious dealer-added treatments/coatings.

Proc/doc fee in CA should not be that high, just saying. It's more like 70 bucks.

What's "Gov't fee"?

It's better if they list "MSRP + tax/title/license" to be more honest/transparent. This isn't the worst I've seen but again, it's your call.

Lee Johnson in Kirkland, WA. Only dealer near Seattle that would take an order, at msrp, with a refundable deposit. Purchase day was smooth and easy.

Question for you guys....What did you receive from the dealership after placing your order with them and putting down a deposit? Did you get a printout of what you ordered? Just a receipt for the down payment?

I’m glad to hear this as ours was just hand written, we signed it and then did get a receipt for our down payment, but it doesn’t say anything about the Telluride.

Well that was with my out of state dealer. When I had put a deposit with my local dealer I got a receipt and a printout which we signed. I think you should’ve gotten at least that or at least request for one

Taylor Thornton of White's Mountain Kia in Casper, WY should be on the top of your list if you want a 2021 Telluride at MSRP plus a $234 document fee. Very honest, transparent and no gimmicks, add on's or other hidden costs. His cell number is (307) 267-3576 and his email address is t.thor1224@gmail.com.
ETA is 8-12 weeks, but, he is cautioning folks it may take longer depending on if and how Covid may affect production and build times at the factory. Out of state is no problem as they are assisting me with shipping. I am from Washington and just ordered an AWD SX fully loaded. I spent a lot of hours searching for dealers in the Western US and 98% of them who would take an order quoted between $1500 and $12,500 above MSRP with some also requiring very expensive dealer add on's. I just happened to see Taylor's name briefly mentioned in an old forum post and that is how I found him.

Anyone looking for Tellurides sold at MSRP no dealer adds or hidden fees. I am located in Casper Wyoming. My email is t.thor1224@gmail.com thanks in advance!

Hey KyCatFan, just contacted Richard. Any additional fees i should know about?
Alvin2383, sorry for the delay. The fees were fairly standard, Title fee $99 and Dealer Fee of $599, lemon law $3 and of course sales tax.

New guy here. I gotta tell you about my experience with NowCar in Miami. In late October I contacted Nathaly to get information on their process. This was based on recommendation from others on this forum. Based on that contact I gave them a $500 "earnest money" to be placed in their Q. As it turns out they never charged my card for this. On Nov 12 I was notified they received their allocation from Kia and I could reserve a Telluride at MSRP. I then gave them 10% down. I received immediately a receipt as well as a copy of the order going into Kia. EVERY week since then I received an update regarding my order. I was given a arrival at the dealer date of 1/22/2021 back in November. 2 days ago I received notice my car would be at the dealer on 1/12; 10 days early. I also received the VIN and a copy of the window sticker. They will be delivering the car as soon after it is received and PDI'd and financing is complete. The car is supposed to delivered to my doorstep in Indiana. There were no fees, no doc fees no add on other than sales tax and a small state registration fee .
So unless something happens this process could not have been smoother. The documentation and communication has been excellent.

I would recommend Matthews Kia of Cartersville in Georgia. I worked with Chris Huth (678-918-6119). I put down a deposit on 7/21 to order a 2021 SX AWD with Prestige/Towing/Nightfall – Dark Moss with Light Gray interior. Came in early afternoon of 11/4 and I picked it up late afternoon. I paid sticker price as promised and no drama with a very easy transaction. Love the ride!
Thank you so much for this info. I've been on the market for a while and visiting almost all dealerships around ATL but they all have crazy markup, until I saw your post. Came out today, test-drove, put down deposit, and ordered a 2021 SXP with Chris. Great experience so far.

Hey there ... I’m in GA looking to pre order and came across your post. Sounds like you had a positive experience with Chris. How was his overall communication about the process? Did the dealership add any of their “protection” packages at time of delivery? Anything that surprised you in the process that you needed to work through?
Appreciate your help! My biggest fear is putting down a deposit, waiting for 3-4 months, only to see the dealer sell my pre ordered car to someone else because they profit more.
I came out and ordered mine today. I'm not sure what will happen once mine is delivered in the future, but so far communication has been great and clear. He let me know right away about their dealer's fee + tag of $700ish on top of MSRP and tax. During the ordering process, he clearly confirmed which add-ons I wanted or not, no upsell at all.

Hello, Im in Oregon and was hard pressed trying to find dealer in the area selling at MSRP. If you don't mind me asking, who did you work with at Lee Johnson? Do they offer Costco discount? Depsoit?
I ordered mine from a dealer on east coast but if i can get close to home, I can save on shipping cost.

I worked with Alex Lee. MSRP. No games. Not sure about Costco, but I doubt it. Yes, a $1000 refundable deposit is required as I mentioned.
