• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi-I’m ordering tomorrow and thought I was set on the gray Nappa interior for Gravity Gray. But, now I’m conflicted. Have a messy 8 year old and 2 yellow labs. What do you all suggest? How hard is the Nappa to clean? And, without seeing in person, what looks best? TIA

Well this is largely a matter of personal preference. When I saw the gray leather interior, I was surprised how light it was. I think it looks nice, but I preferred the black, which also looks very sharp with a gray exterior. I'm sure you will find many varied opinions here! Good luck with whatever you decide.

I haven’t sat in a Telly with grey interior, but it has been and still is my preference after sitting in one with Black interior. I like the contrast of the grey with the GG exterior, and how it visually makes the cabin appear more open.
I’ve now asked multiple parents the question about cleanliness of grey interior, as I have two kids under 4, and all of them have said it’s not hard to clean. Only different to me, it seems, is that you’ll see dirt sooner...which I can foresee being a bit of a headache with kids, but it’s worth it IMO if it means having an interior that I genuinely enjoy getting into day after day.

We love the Dune Brown color. That's what we had in our 2020, and getting the same thing in our 2021 - my wife really enjoys everything about it and I don't disagree. I really like the grey nappa interiors but it scares me with young kids too, although others have said they've been able to clean it easily from what I've seen.

I loved the brown leather - but my wife did not. She also didn't want a light interior - so the Gravity Gray SXP we have on order has black nappa.

I have GG with grey interior and I love it! I have a 4 year and 2 month old and was super worried. Got 3m protection with a 7 year warranty on the leather. The grey makes it look a lot bigger inside

Initially I wanted a black interior, but when I saw it was only available with a light headliner, that made the decision for me. I went with Dune brown since the gray interior looked too light. My wife has a 2017 Sportage SX turbo with a brown interior that similar to Dune brown. It doesn't show dirt as much as a lighter interior would and has worn well over the past couple years. I expect similar results with my Telluride interior.

This is what I am leaning towards but seems the "wood" inlay doesnt match with anything but black or grey int. Wish they allowed to change the inlay color. Or make it more of a black wood like look to match dash than doesnt matter color of int. But yea cant get black with the white/grey headliner, seems like a fail on Kia part.

I was also a little iffy about the color of the "wood" but there wasn't another option and honestly, it's kind of grown on me. My OCD's attention is fully focused on making sure the headliner is combed in one direction only. :)

What 3m protection is this? A spray?

OP what did you decide?

I think the grey (white) is the best.
Open feel
Most luxurious
Easy to clean IMO (I have 2 yr old)

Grey Nappa owner here. Still loving it a year later with two kids under 2. No protective coating applied. Cleaned twice with Chamberlain leather cleaner. Still looks brand new after 4500 miles. Premium luxury looking leather.
